More about me

I am in the process of proctoring some on-line testing of our senior students so I guess I will take advantage of this time. Looks like Omar, MJ and I are the only ones using the blog so far so this may prove to be an exercise in two way vs 30 ways conversation. I am still working....yes the economy slump has be going. But, since my mind is still active and sane (at least my opinion) I see no reason why I shouldn't keep on. Will probably hang it up after next year if my health prevails. Am Senior Associate Provost (SAP--finally being called what I really am) at WSU. In that role I am the chief of staff in the Provosts office. I am also the liaison with the Kansas Board of Regents and do our Performance agreement reports, program review and am generally the go between of the academic programs and the Regents. I deal with student and faculty problems, personnel issues, am the affirmative action officer for the academic affairs and research division. and generally do whatever is needed. Kent my husband is retired. He is a year younger than me...go figure. We purchased a home in Mexico and will most likely spend half or more of our lives there when we retire. His mother is still alive so we'll need to tend to her. Must close for now. Hope we hear from some of the rest of you folks.
